Royal Corinthian Cowes is an inclusive club at the centre of yachting life in Cowes and beyond. Our membership is flourishing and we are always delighted to welcome new members.

Do come and visit the Club and talk to our team, or call the office (01983 293581) to discuss membership and arrange a visit.

We are happy to tell you about our Club and show you our facilities. Please contact the Club Team who will make the necessary arrangements.

Application Form

You will need to be proposed and seconded by a Member of the Club. You must be known to the Proposer and Seconder for more than 6 months. If this is not the case, you will be invited to meet members of the General Committee at the Club and then considered for temporary membership for 6 months, after which you will then be considered for full membership. A Proposer and Seconder are not required for temporary membership. ( Membership form)

Once your application has been approved by the General Committee, a membership card and pack will be sent to you.

Notes

The Proposer and Seconder will have been members of the club for at least 6 months. The Proposer and Seconder are required to write to the General Committee giving all material particulars pertaining to their knowledge of the candidates and suitability for membership.

Instructions


1. Once you have completed the form please send a cheque to cover the year’s subscription together with entrance fee and levy to:
The Membership Secretary, Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 7QU
2. Candidates must be know to the Proposer and Seconder for more than 6 months, if this is not the case they will be invited to meet members of the General Committee at the Club and then they may be considered for temporary membership.
3. Temporary Membership is available for 6 months, after which the candidate will be considered for Full membership. Whilst a temporary member you will not be entitled to vote on any club matters.
4. A Proposer and Seconder are not required for Temporary Membership Applications.
5. Once your application has been approved by the General Committee a membership card and pack will be sent to you.
