A Bar menu is available for informal eating. Captains Room This lovely room at the front of the Club, with views of the Solent, can seat 12 comfortably if you want to hold a dinner party. It is possible to discuss your menu requirements with the Chef making it a very personal experience.
With views over the terrace the Members Dining Room provides dining in comfort for Club Members. Seats up to 35 people with the the Bistro every Friday evening.
This room can seat up to 110 people for functions. Restaurant, plus the marquee extensions We have two marquee extensions available. The first one running directly behind the dining room and erected for 6 – 8 months of the year enables the Club to seat 200 people. In the second marquee extension to the restaurant, which is normally up for July and August each year, we can sit 300 people. These numbers are reduced if you prefer round tables. It is possible to extend the use of the marquees outside their normal time and the Club Manager would be pleased to discuss this with you. There is also space for a dance floor and a band/disco. However, if facilities are full to capacity, then tables are set up on the dance floor and will need to be cleared before the dancing can start.
The Club can also offer facilities for up to 500 people within the Club grounds for barbeques – which often suits post-race informal get togethers. Function menus can be also viewed on this website. There are no room hire charges for Members wishing to book a function at the Club. However, non Members are charged a facility charge.
